With the help of Bi-Lo, Fourth graders in Mr. McClure’s class will raise around 200 Trout eggs in the classroom. Once the eggs, hatch the students will care and feed the trout. When the Trout are fully grown, all fourth grade students will help release the Trout into a nearby stream.

Criteria for Honor Roll
A child that has all A’s on his or her report card qualifies to be on the All A’s Honor Roll. A child that has at least 2 A’s and the rest B’s on his or her Report Card qualifies to be on the A/B Honor Roll. |

Exposing our students to as many careers as possible was our goal at this year’s Career Day. Our school was flooded with members from the community who came in to share their career experiences with the students. Our visitors were: Max Cauthen, U.S. Assistant District Attorney, from the UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, Agent Rey Garcia, from ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) Mr. Reggie Simpkins, Athlete Career Services and Athletic Academic Advisor, Our very on first grade teacher, Miss. Elizabeth Ridgeway, as Miss. Greater Anderson, Mrs. Serita Acker, Program Director of Women in Science and Engineering and Professor of Science and Engineering, from Clemson University, and Mr. Bernard Jackson, Information Technology Architect, from FOX Systems, Inc. Fourth and fifth grade students participated in an Open House performance entitled "Forever Rock-n-Roll". |
Jill Miller, a water specialist from SCRWA, visited with Ms. Murphy’s 5th grade science class. She discussed the ecosystem and how it affects our water supply, along with our effect.

Our Extended Day Program With our Extended Day Program students are eagerly engaged in After School Activities. Students enjoy one hour participating in re-teaching activities and the second hour actively engaged in a club.
